Twitter Hacked, Defaced By “Iranian Cyber Army”
Twitter hacked ahead of Ashura day (Shia Muslim holy day) scheduled on 28th December 2009) marks the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali. The flag posted in the hacked websites reads “Ya Hussayn”.

We’ve received multiple tips right around 10 pm that Twitter was hacked and defaced with the message below. The site was offline for a while.
We’re looking into this and awaiting on a response from Twitter.
The message read:
