Google Buzz logo

Open your mail client.  Ex Thunder Bird, Outlook Express etc.

Compose a New Mail as follows.

From : Your Gmail ID here ( under which your Google Buzz account is used)

To : buzz@gmail.com

Subject : Message to appear in your buzz

Body : Must be blank

Attachments : Optional (Note,  Photos that you send via email are stored online in your Picasa Web Albums.)

I noticed, My first buzz post via Thunder Bird was failed. The mail bounced back. But the consecetive attempts are secceded. I found similler cases have been reported by many others as well in Google Buzz news group.

Finally, If your buzz was  success, then you will get the regular new buzz  notice + one more welcome message with the text “Thanks for posting to Google Buzz via email.” from Google.

Awesome post! Thanks for bringing that up. I am personally all about integrating services like buzz into my own communication processes. So shortcuts like using a simple eMail instead of logging in, are gold for me. I personally posted a video tutorial on how we photographers can setup google buzz in order to get more attention for our portfolios: http://SmokingStrobes.com/buzz. In that tutorial I suggest emailing updates to ping.fm and have ping.fm distributing it to buzz and to other services. However, if I want to post something just on buzz, then your tip regarding email is the fastest way to achieve this.
    Thanks a lot!
